The Forge In Theory

by Bron Skinner 18. September 2009 03:10

I've completed my interface and usability mockups for what I'm calling The Forge, a searchable index of project/venture data. The search component to the application will be written in silverlight, I'm thinking a couple other odds and ends will be added to the control also written in silverlight for visual effect (whizzing doodads etc.), and interact with an asp templated form which will host the project specifics and prototype launch capability.

Ideas for Ventures so far:

- Recreate Emulated Fractal (original flash application)

- Complete Pebble Flip Silverlight Game

- Break Down Media Widget and explain wmv streaming and other interactive components

- Recreate Rotating Text Widget (originally flash) using Silverlight

- Add Twist Drag Photo Album details to listing (prototype here)

I've got a few other ideas as well I've yet to solidify. Rest assured I intend to tackle many visual challanges using Silverlight, and write about them.
