TheForge Update 2

The Forge

Alright, another round of updates to the forge application - I've got the rating system working properly and disallowing more than one valid vote from each instance of the application per machine. This means that if for some reason you tap into your the isostore location for the forge app then you can reset it if so desired...also, if an update is pushed up and your Isostore is "reset" (really just a new set created), you can vote again. This will work for now as I don't plan on this being a huge portion of the application at the moment, although I do see it progressing into a pertinent search/categorical means later.

I've also recreated a Twist and Drag prototype that will work a bit better than the existing (dubbed theretardedbox) app, which still had a few bugs in it (quadrant sense used in scale calculation allowed for a few blind spots where the entire box can in effect disappear).

An apps page will be used as a container for all prototype applications. If an invalid pid (querystring) is passed to the page, a listing of valid applications will be given. Sadly, there is only one application listed at the moment.

I’ll be working on a few more examples in the coming days as promised (more for me than anyone else at the moment) as I continue my job search.

Oh yes, I feel I should mention that I’ll either be moving somewhere (pending a job opens up) or I’ll be joining the Air Force.

New Development, I'm thinking I may be going back to school.
